Table Wine Review: 2014 William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

2014 William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Price: $16.99-19.99

The Basics: Opens nice to nose, deep, smoky.  Cherry and oak palate.  Medium to medium plus tannin.  Medium to medium plus acid.  13.9%

Rating: 89 points

My take:  So if you search this wine online you will find very tepid reviews.  Some asking for more body, complexity, some suggesting it is simply another boring California remake.  Most of these people are not taking into consideration price point, which you have to when rating a wine.  At my “table wine” price point I would consider this a steal.

Bottom line: For this price point William Hill 2014 Cab is excellent buy.  A wonderful everyday table wine that pairs well with anything.
